Holy shit. It's now official. Today was the last day of high school, EVER! It was so monumental, Principal Fox released us seniors from school about 5 minutes early....and as I nearly skipped out of precalc for the last time (gah, to think Mr. Conrad is switching from Lincoln to Washington...assistant principal position, pfft), I actually was feeling GIDDY. I was always really anxious for high school to end, and not in a good way....I feel safe at high school. I know the content that is being learned, I know all of the kids, and I know where the hell I am. But what's going to happen when we go to college? I'm going to end up in Vermillion, an hour away from home, all alone....well, at least I can hold onto the hope that I'll get to room with Keather, yessss :D
But it's scary as hell thinking that I'll never walk into Lincoln again as a "student". I'm now an alumni member, a GRADUATE from Lincoln High School. It probably won't even feel official till we get our diplomas on Sunday, but still....I know I passed all my classes, so I know it's official already, it's just hard to say it's over till it's officially OVER.
Which has happened.
....
Gah....well, I at least spent the day hanging with Megan, because she's always been an amazing friend to me....and soon I'll also spend the rest of the day with Chantel and Keather, my other amazing friends! The most amazing friends in the world, I say....the two of you mean the world to me and more, and I'll never forget you.....especially Chantel, can't forget those confirmation moments!! :D
