Hotness Update: British Men Playing Vampires Are Hotttt :D

All right, so the title isn't entirely true. One word: Twilight. NO, Robert Pattinson is not hot! What the hell are women looking at for them to drool? Pfft.

Now that we have that settled. let's get to some REAL vampires, some real SEXY ones! First, we had zee Bill Compton, aka Stephen Moyer. I won't dwell on him for long, as I've already done that in...multiple....previous posts. And I'm rather behind on episodes, about two now I think. Oh well!

Next, let me introduce a second actor who caught my eye...and drowned me. :P

The man's name is Aidan Turner, and DAMN is he hot! He happens to be on this show called Being Human on BBC America. It came on right after Doctor Who last night, and wow.....after two episodes, I think I'm hooked!

Catching Up Time...

Oh my, am I behind in informing the public of my endeavors...or whatever. Anywho, Tuesday was my birthday. Mr. Hawk came to visit the yard for the first time this year, so that made my day for a bit. At least until we began to wonder about the morning dove feathers. :/ Then we went to Famous Dave's for dinner, which was awesome!! I got my mom's corn on the cob and Dad's cornbread muffin on top of my usual apples and burger, so that was sweet. But that meant I could barely finish the last few bites of the burger....I was content to leave the last little bit, but the waiter came by and said "You're so close though, come on!" I had to point out I also had the corn and muffin, so he gave me that. But when he left, I ate those last few bites anyways. His reaction when he came back was awesome! :) Oh, and I also got to talk to Andrea from elementary school, which was also sweet!

Then I got the Sims 3. Hells yeah!

Now since then, on Friday I went to see The Ugly Truth with Chantel and Keather. Man that day was the greatest....we went to the mall, which was a sort of wandering around/let's help Keather out day! Poor Keather, her phone died and she was having problems with Charlotte Russe because they won't give her her last paycheck...but anyways, we had everything for her taken care of! Plus we got to wander around Walden's, somehow talked Chantel into getting The Dark Hunters manga (no sex in it, so I don't really want to bother when I've already read the books :P ), then got an Orange Julius at the mall. After, we went to see The Ugly Truth.

It. Was. AWESOME!

I loved it. To the point that I think it'd be cool to buy it when the movie comes out on DVD. I loved all the jokes, the premise of the movie, all of it! :D

And now for today's bit of news: Wellll, Jolene is having a bonfire for Jackass, as a chance to say goodbye to him. And I was invited. Not heard about it through Facebook or word of mouth, I got a direct invite to this. Now, two things happened. 1) I thought no way in hell am I going to go, not when he's been treating me like shit for the past few months, dating my cousin, etc., and 2) I was actually very shocked that I got an invite....yet flattered. Because to me, this gave me that feeling that maybe she and the others didn't see me as a loser, that I was all right. All right enough to get invited to this thing, apparently.

The most action I'm planning on making is telling Jolene how much I appreciated the invite, but since he's being an ass to me, I'd rather not deal with the verbal abuse in person....and I'm not so cruel as to ruin a party meant for him. :/

But anways.

The Countdown Begins!

1) 11 days.

:D

11 days till Jackass is gone. I'm giddy just thinking about it--he'll be a few THOUSAND miles away from me, and from my cousin.

Granted, I don't expect him to keep to his word again. He said it himself, he can't handle a long-distance relationship like that. But actually meaning what he says has never stopped him from doing the exact opposite. Why, I believe there's a word in the dictionary to describe that....oh yeah.

Hypocrite. A person who feigns some desirable or publicly approved attitude, esp. one whose private life, opinions, or statements belie his or her public statements.

Damn, might as well replace all that with his name.

2) 1 day.

1 day till I become 18! For some, that means I'm illegal. For the lucky, I'm legal. ;)

Also, 1 day till I get the Sims 3. Sweeeeeeet...

3) About a week.

I'm going to try to get Chantel, Keather and I together to go see The Ugly Truth. Frankly Gerard Butler's looking hot, and any movie about sex will sucker me in. ;) But I'm looking forward to it, and seeing them again too!

4) A little over a month.

That's when I finally get to move into my dorm at USD with Keather. I'm looking forward to that time, because then I can also meet up with Christine again from registration! I think she'll get along great with Keather....nah, I KNOW those two will. :P

I guess I can also mention that's when I end up living on my own. Scary... o.O

My Awkward ESP Moments...

I don't know why, but I have these déjà vu moments that decide to pop up in clusters...and I just so happened to have one right now. WHY?!

I had one a couple days ago, just don't remember why or when. But right now, they were talking about Tony Stewart on TV. After the narrator spoke about his enthusiasm when winning is the same as when he won his first race, I thought "Now why would they say such nice things about him in a dream no less?".....then it hit me.... o.O

I have these quite often. Sometimes I remember a dream and wonder whether it'll happen or not--usually it doesn't. But considering how other dreams I have do come true, when I least expect it, I don't doubt the truth to those other dreams. Not unless it's SO completely out there, like my one dream with Rafael....now that was a weird one. Sort of like I was getting a vibe he wanted to cheat on something with me but I didn't know who....I don't know, but he was hot in that dream!

*Sigh* I don't know...it just feels weird when that stuff happens....but I might at least record it so that I don't sound completely crazy, right?

*Sigh.*

Meh....I'm just in a pissy mood today.....I swear, I'm going to have the biggest party when Jackass moves to Utah, and it will be SWEET....

Onto the good news: Tejiah found me on facebook. I repeat, TEJIAH FOUND ME!!! I couldn't believe it, I was so happy! We used to be the closest of friends growing up, she was so awesome. I remember how she had so many broken arms and legs, that it was like she had broken almost every limb at least twice. She was such an active kid, lol. So was I, right up until she was able to outrun me. :P But then, in 6th grade, she moved away...that was a sad year, I lost both Corri and Tejiah that year....but now I've got them both on facebook, yay! :D

Then I also found my cousin Tia on facebook. Wasn't expecting that. o.O

And, well....that's about all I want to report on for now.

This is it.

Pretty words--nor song lyrics--won't save you from what you've done. You haven't changed, you haven't learned. Being a complete asshole is what you've shown, and you haven't done a single thing to warrant any forgiveness. And yet, you have an idiot of a girlfriend who thinks she can give you the forgiveness you want, because she thinks that's what you DESERVE.

When will you both wake up and face that precious music you drown yourself in? Jackass: you won't find salvation in her. What you've got is your dumb blonde--or in this case, your blissfully desperate girlfriend who will believe anything that makes you look like an angel. And my cousin: you can't save him. He will never learn from his mistakes, no matter how hard you wish for it. You can and WILL find someone better, so why waste your summer on an asshole?

I am so fucking SICK of having to deal with the whining, the bitching about how everyone is out to get you, about how I'm like everyone else after I was the closest friend you had. You treated me like shit, and you think you don't deserve the jokes you got?! How DARE you, you asshole! You deserved every short joke you've gotten the past few months from me. And if you've treated me the same way you've treated the rest of your friends, then you've deserved every DAMN joke aimed at you in your lifetime.

YES, I am capable of being angry. And this time, I'm not going to bend over backwards to make you happy. You try to make yourself look so big with your anger, but others are able to be pissed off too, asshole! I'm able to get VERY pissed, to the point that you can't save me. I find it amazing how when you say it's over, you expect me to believe you. But when I threaten to end it all, to show you just how much you fucked up, you expect me to forgive you? To calm down and talk to you "rationally" when you've done nothing rational in your life? Forget that.

I hate it too, you know. I hate it that you'd dare to classify me with the rest of the world. Because back when I actually cared, I hadn't laughed. I hadn't cracked a fucking joke about you. And you know it too, because that example you provided was from just a few weeks ago. WAY after you threw me aside, said I was fucked up in the head, and proceeded to treat me like shit.

Fuck you.

Epic Vacation Journey! - Day 4

Day 4....the last day.....sadness. :(

There was this really weird group that came into Prairieberry Winery with us. They had some very funny guys there though, they had awesome quotes! Such as:
  • "Well I couldn't ride the rides at Disneyland, so I'm here tasting wine instead."
  • "It's Grandpa time!"
  • "It's a bit of Catholic humor if you don't get it."
The girls of the group though? Not as cool as they thought....although there was a cute guy there too, with his own family, and I didn't get a picture of him either. *sigh*

Also, I cannot forget the Amish-looking people we saw at Mouth Rushmore the other day. We were walking out, and here comes an Amish type guy with that stereotypical black long beard and farming clothing stuff, and he's pushing a stroller. Following him was two other women wearing those dresses, and one of them was carrying a little baby all wrapped up in a blanket....all I could think was that it looked so stereotypical, they looked like they stepped straight out of a movie! I was laughing so hard afterwards.... :P

Before we left Rapid City, we went to the Firehouse Brewing Co. for lunch. And OH. MY. GOD. The food was amazing!!! I want to go back soon, it's so cool in there! :)

Then we toured through the Badlands too, of course. I was kinda tired and cranky, but I found a shirt that made my day. "Badlands: Leave it as you found it." I thought there'd be a ton of dads who could appreciate that shirt! :P

Epic Vacation Journey! - Day 3

If we get a cabin at Sylvan, it'll SO be cabin 407. Take note.

Brad Paisley's Play album is also amazingly appropriate when driving in the Hills. Especially Needles Highway. Man, some of those songs fit it perfectly...

I finally got to see my lone buffalo sighting near the side of the road! It was so cool, and I think this might be the first time I've gotten a picture of a buffalo looking directly at me...spooky...

We came across a semi-former Brulé member at Mount Rushmore, Vlasis. My mom remembered him well; I just thought it was cool that he was with the band. He spent quite a long time talking with us, and even signed the CDs we bought of his! :D

Random note: I really love these giant throw pillows at Sylvan, they're so comfy....did I already mention that?

Lots of weddings in the area. One is here at Sylvan (and it wasn't the one we were meant to attend originally :P ), then we went to the Game Lodge to find another wedding. Another note: teh renovations to the Game Lodge are amazing!! And the bathrooms? Huge, and all motion-activiated! But these renovations are really good....

Most everything I've gotten are sweatshirts/clothing...but one is like my favorite Custer hoodie, and the other said "Mouth to Mouth Certified" on it, and I couldn't resist! :D

Sometimes I'm not even sure I'm pay attention to what I'm writing...this pen is just so smooth, and for some reason I like to watch my sloppy handwriting... :P

We spent most of the morning walking around Sylvan Lake. For once, I was willing to be adventurous, so Dad and I rolled up our jeans and waded through the lake to reach this small dam overlook thing. We weren't alone though; one other woman had done the same thing, so we talked to her for a bit. She was from Wisconsin, with another lady from WI, and they came 'cause they saw the lake on National Treasure. Man, that movie did lots for our tourism apparently. Anyways, then a really nice couple with a little girl crossed with us 'cause they too thought it looked cool.

Even better, the water was so nice and cool...it felt amazing afterwards. :D

Later on down the trail, we also ended up climbing up along the rock edge of the lake. MAN, now that was sweet! I was just glad Mom was willing to go up too, and I don't think she was disappointed.

Epic Vacation Journey! - Day 2

Well, while we were still in Pierre, we made a few trips: Walmart (depressing to admit), but the parents forgot toothpaste of all things. Then to the scrapbooking store to splurge. Then to Perkins for the best lunch of the trip! :D

Didn't leave Pierre till about 11:50, then was on the road for a short time to reach the 1880 Town. Lots of walking, but it was fun! One of the biggest highlights was a litter of kittens in this old haunted hotel...ok, it wasn't haunted, but it was a prime candidate. But DAMN they were cute! Then there was a saloon where I got a garter souvenir and watched a comedy performance in the street. Man they were funny, and the kids they picked were just as adorable. The kids' mom was standing by us, and she said they should tease the older one for his purple shoes. :P

After that was Wall Drug, so I got a shirt there. Not much new to report though, other than another cute guy sighting occurred. They seem to like tourist traps. :P

Took the Needles Highway by accident to get to Sylvan Lake, but it was a good mistake in my opinion. Very pretty at dusk, when we usually always go in the morning.

I wish I had done more reading on the trip though. And I need to remind myself to look up that Vampire's Seduction series...ahem....(Note to self: Books aren't really worth it after all, they kill William. Damnit.)

Oh, we also ate at Sylvan's restaurant. It was cute, with a formal feel and somewhat casual dining. Just different. (Another note: Tiffany said that Minerva's has taken over the dining of the lodges and stuff, or at least that's what we understand, so it makes sense. Yay for having Kara for a cousin now! :D )

I think I'm most fascinated with the size of our hotel room, it's huge! It even has a couch, giant closet, etc....the throw pillows are also huge, awesome!!

We also saw our first big horn sheep sighting--followed by three more! Sure was lucky to catch a picture of them all. They never seem to come out of the mountains. But none of them had horns, so I was a bit confused... :P

Epic Vacation Journey! - Day 1

I really had no idea this pen was purple till I started writing with it. Yes, I wrote this stuff in a journal, because I was without wi-fi for most all of it. Go figure. :/ Anyways, the package was purple and I knew the pen was gel, but still....and yeah, the pen is also purple, but I've been fooled before.

So this was a rather thrilling start to vacation. Spending our first night with tornado watches in the area....and we're in a trailer. Yeep.

I'm really glad I brought my laptop along. I was able to upload all 355 pictures at the end of the day, and hopefully I can delete them so I can get rid of the July 4th photos. Or I can do that via the laptop....

But between the picture taking and album listening in the car, it took me WAY too damn long to finish Don't Bargain with the Devil. I'm ashamed of myself....If I had actually paid attention, I probably would've had it done by the time we reached Mitchell, or Chamberlain at the latest. Yeah, forget that.

Al's Oasis was pretty cool too, as always. Our poor waitress though, she was blamed for losing our order when it really wasn't her fault. I just hope our tip was large enough to make her feel better. On another note, there were some pretty cute guys swarming the area too...I only got a picture of one of them though, 'cause he was sitting next to us. Two of them walked past outside, but it's hard to get pictures when it's dark inside and light outside, etc...but those other two outside were HOT.

Then when we made it to Pierre, we ended up getting directions from Uncle Ron on how to reach him at this old run-down house. Him and Aaron were taking out windows from it for salvage, because the guy was going to tear down the house and rebuild. I think the owner's a lawyer or something...very typical since the house is along the river. :P But anyways, we got to watch them take down a window (Dad had to help) and we got to say hi to Aaron too! :)

Later we checked out the Heritage Museum, then had Uncle Ron drive us around the Pierre area and to the Oahe Dam. I got lots of cool sunset photos there, plenty to experiment with! And only a little rain surprisingly.

Awesome Cousin I've Got, Right...

I am just about to start an epic retelling of my vacation, but first, I think I should start with the goings-on of yesterday.

Monday was pretty typical, but pretty fun. Mom and I went to the Attic for lunch with the relatives, and we got to see the aunts and uncles....then Tiffany showed up, so it was awesome to see her! Tia and Tessa were also there, which was also really cool, and Tessa's birthday was Monday too, so she was spoiled. As usual. Silly aunts....mostly Aunt Ruth does the spoiling though.

Then after lunch, we went to Vision Care to pick up my mom's new pair of glasses. They're cute, and she likes them, so I'm happy. :P

Been doing quite a bit of reading, or at least trying to. I started Tina Donahue during the trip, called Close to Perfect. Super hot cover and super hot book, but I wish I was farther in than I am. :/

I'm also looking forward to my birthday, sort of. One week to the day. I told my parents I wanted the Sims 3 for my birthday, which I'm somewhat looking forward to? I'm iffy because of people's complaints, but I think sometimes people just whine too much.

And on top of it, I'll be 18. And I have no clue if I'll have a party, or celebrate, or whatever. It's just....why put the work into it, when I'll be stressing about impressing everyone else. I'll be more concerned about whether everyone else is enjoying themselves, when it's a party for myself....which is point #2--I hate celebrating myself. It makes me feel conceited, self-centered, etc. :/ Ah well....

And surprise! Whymyexsucks.com thought Jackass's three flaws were worthy of popping up on the site. Surprised me at least, but I was especially pleased by the title. What can I say, there's always a rogue in the family...or a very stupid relative. Check it here --> http://whymyexsucks.com/post/140788695/awesome-cousin-youve-got

Thursday, July 9, 2009

So I'm going to make this post quick. My battery's getting low and I don't know if I should plug it in as there are storms in the area and we're in a hotel....but I don't know whether or not the hotel thing really makes a difference or not. BUT anyways...

This is actually day 2 of our vacation, halfway through! I documented day 1, so that's taken care of, but this will REALLY be out of order if I report today, yada yada, so I shall just write down today's stuff also. If I have time tomorrow, I'll write it all down, have the laptop plugged in, everything PERFECT....Ahhhh.

On the trip, I *am* keeping a hot guy pictorial journal also...might as well, you know! ;) But anyway, my main goal is to get photos deleted from the camera (apparently the card can hold over 1000 photos?), and maybe upload a bunch of them to Facebook. I have access to FACEBOOK from here, YAY! :P

ANYWAYS, I'm off to get things settled and such, & enjoy the thunder outside...

Always Be Prepared!

Wow, is there a downpour outside right now...Bad thing is, I have an urge to grab the camera, pop the garage door up a little bit and take some photos of it. Probably a bad idea though, there's lightning with it. And quite a lot of rain, so it would probably find its way through the door. But man, is it fun to listen to...

Oh my, now hail has appeared. Now that's not so cool. But still better than tornadoes. :/

And apparently hail/strong rain won't stop me from taking photos, I went ahead and took a bunch through the garage door anyways. Woot!

Earlier today we had some last minute shopping trips to make before we head out to the Hills tomorrow. First was Lewis to drop off some mail; then to Vision Care Associates to pick up my new glasses! I have to admit, I love the new frames. :) Then we went to Cracker Barrel to eat; Barnes & Noble to look around.....gah, EVERYTHING was moved around in B&N. I was so lost...then they decided to move the romance section to where the humor was, which is taller shelves and darker corners...I like my books brighter....which reminds me, I need to look into this vampire series I came across. First person, vampires, and sort of Sookie-like....however I think it's a male character and as loose as Sookie, but for some reason that doesn't bother me so much...not to mention one of the books didn't even say anything about a female romantic interest, so maybe there won't be a particular one for me to latch onto. Won't bother me any!

So after B&N, we went to Hobby Lobby; then KMart, where I got to say hi to Nicole and Brandon! Those two are awesome.....stocked up on Joe Boxer apparel....then my mom oh so conveniently stumbled across Hoops & YoYo lounge pants & sleep shirts!! Oh my, were they adorable....Then a trip to Walmart that was mostly disappointing, wiht the exception of finding Rapture! I was hoping Jacquelyn Frank would come out with that book soon.

Uhmmm....I think right now my main goal is to finish Don't Bargain with the Devil tonight, because I'm so close...so close...as in just over 50 pages left. And I really don't want to bring a book that's got so little left to go!

Dammit, now the parents want me to give the dog a bath too before he goes to the boarding kennel tomorrow. Come on. We've done enough already. Ah well.... :/

Stupid People Piss Me Off.

I'm getting really sick of people and their whining. I'm sick of my own whining. Granted, I know many would say that venting and ranting is different from whining, but that's what it feels like to me...I don't like to bore others with my problems. Because it drags the conversation down, and it might drag them down, and what I need most from friends is happiness. Sooo...that's mostly why I feel like I've been doing nothing but complaining.

There are way too many people who do hardcore whining nowadays, though. I swear, I need to stop reading comments posted online. I made the mistake of reading the comments on Alice and Kev, that cool website with two homeless Sims 3 people. Honestly, most people need to SHUT UP. If you have nothing good to say about it, don't say it at all. As of late, posts are alternating between Kev and Alice. Kev is entirely photos, without words. People, GET OVER IT. Do you have an explanation for his wandering around the countryside? Oh wait, is that a NO I heard from you? Well durr, didn't it occur to you that the author ALSO has no fucking clue what he's doing? And on top of that, there's something called Free Will on the stupid game. The author already said he does as little manipulating as possible on the game, which is why all interactions with other characters are all done on their own free will. Dammit.....

And another thing: the website is not a fucking STORY. It's an experiment, to see just what will happen if you take two characters, make them as homeless as possible, then leave them alone to their own machinations. You don't like a post without words? Do you really want the author to come up with a retarded storyline that may turn out WRONG in the end? Fine, go find someplace else. Someone already ripped the idea off on the Sims 3 website, you can go read her shit. And it really was shit....I much prefer Robin's version. He won't even stoop so low as to narrate every damn photo. "Kev is walking across a field. And still walking. And now he's crossing a bridge." Fuck, that'd get so boring I'd quit in a second.

But when there's no words, we can only wonder what's going on. And I like that.

Now because I just want to say it: Jackass isn't just a jackass, he's a total ASSHOLE. I can't believe my cousin is stupid enough to not see that, but I guess I'd thought wrong. And I will celebrate when he moves away, so much...He tried doing things on his terms again with me. "I'm willing to talk, but someone's not responding". Burn in hell, asshole, you sure weren't willing to talk before! Just because YOU want to now, on YOUR terms, doesn't mean I want to. Fucking get over yourself.

Then on top of it, when I told him what bothered me, he defended himself. As usual. By sending the retarded message "I don't". You DO asshole, or I wouldn't have a fucking problem with it in the first place! And what the fuck did you think you don't do, huh? You don't talk about my cousin nonstop? You don't have a life? You don't have anything better to do? Well look at that, those two have some pretty substantial evidence to back me up. God....

See, that's why I don't like venting. It riles me up, then it takes forever for me to calm down. :/

But anyways, back to my actual life....I've been bitten quite a bit the past two days, with the 4th of July and helping the neighbors cut down branches. Earlier there was a bite on my right ankle that was bothering me to no end, but now the other one on my left ankle is what really itches...grrr.

Today I had lunch with Aunt Mary & Aunt Ruth too, so that was really cool. We went to the Olive Garden, and OH. MY. GOD. The Tour of Italy platter was HUGE, but absolutely amazing!! I had to bring about half of it home, but it was so worth it...

Then Wednesday is our trip to the Hills! I'm looking forward to it so much, I can hardly stand it....let's just see if I can talk the parents into letting me bring the new laptop along. :)

Every Time You Watch Ghost Adventures, Two Spirits Are Having Sex

So if a person has no respect for hypocrites, yet is dating a hypocrite and knows it (or at least ignores the fact), wouldn't that person be a hypocrite?

Fascinating how that works out.

It's the 4th of July, yay! I'm really excited to go see the family, that's going to be awesome as usual. Then we're going to watch the fireworks show at the fairgrounds, so that'll also be fun. I just hope that 1) it doesn't rain on us, and 2) we can go out and get batteries for my camera, because I want to take pictures!! Sheesh...

Annnnd....well, that's about the most that's been going on since what, yesterday?.....*sigh*. Ah well.

Man, every time I look at my title banner on this blog thing, I think back to the Hills and want to go back so bad. But I will! Very, verrrrrry soon....just have to wait till Wednesday! :)

My parting quote is from last night on Ghost Adventures: "Do you think we caught two spirits having sex? --Well you might've interrupted something!"

Calling Him Out and Tech Questions...

Well....

Yelling at Jackass did make me feel a bit better. I finally had a chance (and a good reason) to call him an asshole, then just chew him out for all the shit he's pulled on me these past weeks. Took a while, but I squeezed an apology out of him. Granted it didn't come till he tried to tell me that I was "following" him and commenting on everything he did on Facebook. Ahhh, that I wanted to smack him on the face for, so I just yelled at him some more. Sure did work, especially when I told him plenty: that I had better things to do with my time than to follow him around, that I had a life, and that he only thinks that because he wants me to follow him. That last one made me feel REALLY good, and threw him off a little too. But it's a lot more probable than he thinks. He's so insecure about a multitude of things....*sigh*.

But all in all, I think he got the message. I'm done with having to do things on his terms--if he wants to talk to me, I will be as cordial or as pissy as I feel at the time. And if he asks what's the matter, then I'll tell him to shove it up his ass. He should've been there for me when I needed him, and he missed his shot. So if he thinks he can be there for me now (or anytime soon), he can forget it. He's going to have to abide by MY rules dammit, I'm not living on his terms. Unlike Keni, I actually have a backbone.

Now that I got that off my chest.....I need to get ahold of Ryan sometime soon. My computer's down to 288 GB of space, and I don't know what's happened with the missing gigabytes. When I bought it, it was 320...I do sort of expect a slight influx of gigs, but come on. Sure makes me thankful though that I'm friends with the Webmasta, so I can ask him and see what he has to say about it. :/

Also been figuring out how to add photos to this one. It's a bit weird, like it just imports them all into this photo gallery, basically one large folder for them all. Soooo...yeah.

Plus, I want to delete photos from this Kodak card too. Fourth of July is coming up really quick, as in tomorrow. :) More photo fun! And hopefully a chance to try out the rapid-fire feature on the camera. Got lots to learn about on this thing still.
