Hotness Update: British Men Playing Vampires Are Hotttt :D

All right, so the title isn't entirely true. One word: Twilight. NO, Robert Pattinson is not hot! What the hell are women looking at for them to drool? Pfft.

Now that we have that settled. let's get to some REAL vampires, some real SEXY ones! First, we had zee Bill Compton, aka Stephen Moyer. I won't dwell on him for long, as I've already done that in...multiple....previous posts. And I'm rather behind on episodes, about two now I think. Oh well!

Next, let me introduce a second actor who caught my eye...and drowned me. :P

The man's name is Aidan Turner, and DAMN is he hot! He happens to be on this show called Being Human on BBC America. It came on right after Doctor Who last night, and wow.....after two episodes, I think I'm hooked!

Always Be Prepared!

Wow, is there a downpour outside right now...Bad thing is, I have an urge to grab the camera, pop the garage door up a little bit and take some photos of it. Probably a bad idea though, there's lightning with it. And quite a lot of rain, so it would probably find its way through the door. But man, is it fun to listen to...

Oh my, now hail has appeared. Now that's not so cool. But still better than tornadoes. :/

And apparently hail/strong rain won't stop me from taking photos, I went ahead and took a bunch through the garage door anyways. Woot!

Earlier today we had some last minute shopping trips to make before we head out to the Hills tomorrow. First was Lewis to drop off some mail; then to Vision Care Associates to pick up my new glasses! I have to admit, I love the new frames. :) Then we went to Cracker Barrel to eat; Barnes & Noble to look around.....gah, EVERYTHING was moved around in B&N. I was so lost...then they decided to move the romance section to where the humor was, which is taller shelves and darker corners...I like my books brighter....which reminds me, I need to look into this vampire series I came across. First person, vampires, and sort of Sookie-like....however I think it's a male character and as loose as Sookie, but for some reason that doesn't bother me so much...not to mention one of the books didn't even say anything about a female romantic interest, so maybe there won't be a particular one for me to latch onto. Won't bother me any!

So after B&N, we went to Hobby Lobby; then KMart, where I got to say hi to Nicole and Brandon! Those two are awesome.....stocked up on Joe Boxer apparel....then my mom oh so conveniently stumbled across Hoops & YoYo lounge pants & sleep shirts!! Oh my, were they adorable....Then a trip to Walmart that was mostly disappointing, wiht the exception of finding Rapture! I was hoping Jacquelyn Frank would come out with that book soon.

Uhmmm....I think right now my main goal is to finish Don't Bargain with the Devil tonight, because I'm so close...so close...as in just over 50 pages left. And I really don't want to bring a book that's got so little left to go!

Dammit, now the parents want me to give the dog a bath too before he goes to the boarding kennel tomorrow. Come on. We've done enough already. Ah well.... :/

They Don't Teach This in School...

When you love someone...truly love them, friend or lover, you lay your heart open to them. You give them a part of yourself that you give to no one else, and you let them inside a part of you that only they can hurt--you literally hand them the razor with a map of where to cut deepest and most painfully on your heart and soul. And when they do strike, it's crippling--like having your heart carved out. It leaves you naked and exposed, wondering what you did to make them want to hurt you so badly when all you did was love them. What is so wrong with you that no one can keep faith with you? That no one can love you? To have it happen once is bad enough...but to have it repeated? Who in their right mind would not be terrified of that?

Ended up re-reading Devil May Cry last night for a few hours and stumbled across that bit of wisdom. What is so hard about this that idiots like Jackass can't comprehend the pain they can inflict? Seriously...

I have to admit though, it's because of that sort of logic that I love Sherrilyn Kenyon. She's got it figured out, or at least knows how to pretend she does. But her books are awesome, not gonna lie.

For some reason I'm not very talkative today. Don't know if it's me living in my head for too long again, or drama is dragging me down. I just want it to end....

Also, I decided against reading Charlaine Harris's whole Sookie series. APPARENTLY she indulges in the one thing I can't stand: making two characters fall in love, then the relationship end in pieces and they end up elsewhere. Basically, Bill is around for the first 3 books. Forget it, I want him in EVERY one of those 9 books and upcoming ones, not in the first three. And on top of that, another guy shows up in the more recent books by the name of Quinn. Gayyyyyy, I spell my names Qhuinn. Now THAT is one hot name.....damn hot character too... ;)

However that doesn't deter me from Katie MacAlister. Similar writing style, but at least I know that Gabriel will be around at the end of the series, whenever that will be. And if I want more vampires like Bill....well, then I'll turn to Zeke and leave it at that.

Only other thing of entertainment recently is this new blog I came across, thanks to the Sims 3 on facebook. This guy took two homeless people with obscure traits and has been doing this experiment to see where Sims life takes them. And it turns out to be REALLY interesting. Alice and Kev, keep them in mind. Personally, I think Alice is adorable.

Finding Cash Around The House? Priceless.

149 pennies. $1.49
112 nickels. $5.60
174 dimes. $17.40
90 quarters. $22.50

Total? $46.99. Alllllll in loose change. Seriously.

And the last time we went in to cash in loose change? The total came out to be $120. Holy SHIT.

Plus, to top it off, I found $60 in 20 dollar bills in my change box. I think that was from the last time....but again, seriously?

PLUS, I think I have about 10 or 20 bucks in one of my pants pockets....I've gotta go find that...I swear, I've never felt so rich! Well, except for when we had $120 in change. :D I honestly want to go take it all, add it to my graduation money, and buy a new laptop with it. I really do! Toshiba has some kickass laptops, or at least from what I've seen...

However, I'm heading off to bed now. I think I'm coming down with something, just don't know what....woke up with a sore throat, then later this afternoon I started getting a little dizzy when moving around too much...then ringing in the ears....then hot all over, but chills inside....ick. And my nose is feeling funky, like I need to sneeze or blow my nose really bad, but it's dry and, well, not congested. And I've dealt with congestion plenty.

We'll just blame it on the cloudy weather. I like rain, but not cloudy weather. Either rain, or be sunny! Grrr...

And ohmygosh. I want to see True Blood now. They just had the previews for it on TV, and holy CRAP it looks hot! The guys are questionable, they all look tired....my Zeke's not tired looking, he just looks like he's....sexed up? Seen too much? Dunno. I shall think it over.

I betcha Hulu has it. I shall check!
